Goodbye Boston (Brookline), Hello Jerusalem
24 hours from now I’ll be aboard an El Al flight, cruising through the night sky to Tel Aviv, Israel. During my time in Israel, I’ll be staying in a hotel in the heart of Jerusalem: Yev Yerushalayim. I’ve been to Israel once, the summer after my freshman year of college, to travel around the country with the birthright program. I had an amazing time there and have always wished to go back.
Reality has set in that I’m leaving behind the house that I spent the past two years of my college life living in. Yes, I’m sad to leave this place, but I’m excited for the adventures that lie ahead.
